what is destiny?

Recently saw the movie the secret

read the book too
good concept
whatever u want if u want it from all ur heart the universe will make all efforts and concentrate all its strength to give it to u.


this means that if i don't get something i wanted that i means was i too much negative about it ??
or did i not want it from all my heart ?
but that's questioning my dedication



so now we have two brilliant but contradicting concepts in front of us

one is that whatever happens happens for the best

yeah we have heard this one a lot of times

whenever something happens which we did not want instead of something which we wanted from all our heart we tell our self this has happened for the best its OK


but the other one the one from the secret tells us that all we want can be ours
and we the power to make our life the best

if u go by the 1st one u will find that our life will be the best anyhow because everything that will happen will be for the best....


now the 1st one seems so exciting that if it were true we would get all that we want
imagine how perfect everything would be just the way we want it to be

and the 2nd one says even if u don't get what u want a particular point of time
u would get something better
destiny has in store for you something better
it is said that life gives answers in three ways it says
yes and gives u what u want
no and gives something better
and wait and gives the best

but isn't it disheartening to know that we still are losing what we want

that we don't want life or destiny to choose what we get

These two philosophies confuse me so much these days

I dont know what to do.

i say lets just follow the first
take a chance to get what u want
want it from all ur heart and believe that the universe will give it to u

ah!! it feels good already
feels like i have already got it.....
